My mission is to design silk scarves that not only make you feel classy and elegant but also celebrate the best of British craftsmanship.
Each scarf is inspired by my love for nature and my passion for creating beautiful, unusual pieces.
From horses to water, reflections,
abstracts
and flowers, my designs capture the essence of nature's beauty. I work closely with a family-run silk printing business that has been perfecting the art of silk printing for over 40 years. Together, we bring these designs to life for you.
Each KL Scarf design is sourced from one of my own unique photographs. I select the best images that I believe will translate beautifully onto silk. I then collaborate with skilled silk printing experts. Their expertise ensures that every detail of my vision is captured in the final product. The hand-rolled edges, a hallmark of quality, are meticulously sewn by talented artisans, adding the perfect finishing touch to each scarf. This is a vital and tricky, skilled task, and one I happily delegate to the experts.
The result is a wonderful wearable work of art, with each design paired to its ideal type of silk.
Every KL Scarf is a reflection of my love for nature. My lifelong passion for horses, along with my appreciation for the beauty of water, flowers, and leaves, influences many of my designs.
Each scarf has a story behind it whether it’s the moment and the circumstances in which I captured the image or the reason I chose that specific design or silk. These stories add a personal touch to each piece, making every scarf not just an accessory but a special
record of that time and place, and a unique
presentation of the natural world.
At KL Scarves, I am committed to creating high-quality pieces that are truly luxurious.
Each scarf is made using one of several types of silk,
the most luxurious of natural materials, ensuring
that your accessory not only looks and feels luxurious but will also last a lifetime.
‘Made in England’ is an important aspect of my work.
I help support the best British craftsmanship, and it’s a family firm too - what could be a happier situation.
